At the European Comenius EduMedia Competition 2014, DR.SCHNELL Chemie was awarded for its electronic learning program. The award belongs to Europe’s most prestigious prizes for didactic multimedia products.

Current knowledge on professional cleaning can be built up at the desk as well - and it is fun as well - this is demonstrated by the Munich-based family-owned company DR.SCHNELL active all over Europe with its interactive E learning tools. The training documents in six languages, i.e. in German, English, Greek, Italian, Russian and Turkish have now received an award in conjunction with the European Comenius EduMedia Competition 2014.

The organiser of the competition is the renowned Company for Pedagogics and Information (GPI), a scientific society for multimedia, educational technology and media didactics. The award belongs to Europe’s most prestigious prizes for didactic multimedia products. It goes to companies and institutions that employ outstanding information and communication technology based educational media.

On June 19th 2014 on occasion of a festive function the award in the shape of a seal was handed over at the European House in Berlin by the Chairman of GPI and the Jury Chairman Professor Dr Dr Gerhard E. Ortner as well as by the President of the European Society for Education and Communication, Professor Dr Thomas A. Bauer. The prize was received by Franz Felbermeir, responsible for marketing at DR.SCHNELL, and by Bastian Dietz of the Munich-based agency schalk&friends gmbh, that has set up the E learning program for DR.SCHNELL.

“Professional cleaning is permanently continuing to develop”, says Franz Felbermeir, “this applies to legal specifications as well as products and their applications. For this reason, knowledge has to be up-to-date, understandable and immediately implementable. With our practical training we have been contributing significantly to this end for many years already. Bit by bit, we have implemented the core content of professional cleaning in the E learning programmes as well - as a special service to our customers. In this context, our specialist consultants provide an access code for staff members after classroom training for staff members who were not able to attend the classroom training. The entertaining online tool is also excellently suited for participants with a migrant background. We are pleased about the award by the European Comenius EduMedia Competition 2014 and consider it motivation to further continuously expand the online channel of knowledge transfer in the future.”

“Based on modern infotainment, complex contents in particular are remembered well,” says Bastian Dietz of schalk&friends agency, “we have set up and implemented the E learning programme for professional cleaning for DR.SCHNELL Chemie according to the latest didactic aspects. The more fun the learning person has, the easier he or she will remember the contents. The award in connection with the European Comenius EduMedia Competition 2014 confirms us on this path.”
