The result: a forward-looking improvement in the field of sustainable sanitary cleaning.   <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\">Out with fossil-based raw materials, in with renewable raw materials: That is the essence of a collaboration between DR.SCHNELL and BASF. Starting in June 2025, we at DR.SCHNELL will be using an even more sustainable version of the acid in numerous bathroom cleaners containing methanesulfonic acid\u2014including MILIZID ECO, MILIZID SHINE ECO, and our new acidic cleaner EASY QUICK S. The reason for our clear initiative: Methanesulfonic acid derived from fossil sources does not align with our understanding of sustainability or the trust that people place in eco-labeled products. That is why Lutropur\u00ae MSA EcoBalanced, a methanesulfonic acid manufactured by BASF, was developed using the biomass balance approach and represents a completely new alternative to conventional methanesulfonic acid with a reduced carbon footprint.   <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:100px;--height-desktop:50px;--height-tablet:50px;--height-mobile:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4\">A Pioneering Role in the Plumbing Industry  <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5 wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith this innovative new raw material, we are underscoring our pioneering role in the sanitary sector and once again consciously taking on responsibility,\u201d says Dr. Axel Schlossbauer, Head of the Product Systems Division at DR.SCHNELL. \u201cBy using Lutropur\u00ae MSA EcoBalanced instead of BASF\u2019s conventional MSA, DR.SCHNELL reduces CO2 emissions by approximately 300 grams per kilogram of raw material per year.
