Only with complete transparency and an open approach to these issues can we achieve improvement. That is why we are constantly working to reduce our CO₂ footprint. For example, through local sourcing, cooperation with regional manufacturers in Germany and Austria, avoidance of raw materials from overseas, renewable raw material sources, and a comprehensive recycling strategy.

This enables our customers to benefit from:
• Sustainable cleaning chemicals for their own sustainability goals and as a key selling point for their next tender
• Transparent presentation of CO₂ savings in accordance with ISO 14067
• A genuine certificate proving their commitment

By offsetting the CO₂* emissions of your products, you are supporting the Chacayes Hydroelectric Project in Chile.

This is a run-of-river power plant in the Cachapoal Valley in Region VI in Chile. The power plant has an installed capacity of 110.8 MW and an expected annual net generation of approximately 560 GWh of electricity per year. It uses water from the Cipreses and Cachapoal rivers to generate hydroelectric power for export to the SIC grid. The Chilean government is actively seeking alternative forms of energy to stabilize the energy supply and meet the rapidly growing demand of 350,400 MW per year. However, it is predicted that the system expansion will mainly be achieved through thermal energy. This project creates additional capacity for renewable energies and replaces the energy from the grid that is partly generated by fossil fuel-fired power plants. This will reduce CO2* emissions by approximately 357,000 tons per year.

Our strategy for the future

... no longer place any product on the market without the EU Ecolabel if there is a category for it

... improve the recycled content ratio and thus the CO2* balance every year

... Use of sustainable renewable raw materials

... Make even greater use of digital solutions for training, dosing, and controlling maintenance and service operations

* CO₂ values determined using ISO 14067certified calculation method
