Saxony-Anhalt's Minister President visits production facility
Reiner Haseloff visits our production site at the Genthin Chemical Park—and is impressed.

A strong signal for Germany as a business location and the Genthin region: Saxony-Anhalt's Minister President Dr. Reiner Haseloff visited our production site at the Genthin Chemical Park in early September – and was impressed by the developments there. The meeting focused on the dialogue between politics and business: What opportunities does the Genthin location offer? How can modern production, sustainable growth, and regional development be combined? Our Managing Director Dr. Thomas Schnell discussed these questions with Minister President Haseloff and numerous representatives from state and local politics.

Complete relocation of production by 2026

Since 2022, we have been manufacturing cleaning and hygiene solutions at our production company German Hygiene Liquids (GHL) in Genthin on a 30,000 square meter site. Now comes the next milestone: by early 2026, all production will be completely relocated from Munich to Genthin. Research, development, and administration will remain in Munich.

"We sense enthusiasm here about the prospects that our investments bring," emphasizes Dr. Thomas Schnell. A production volume of 25 million liters is planned for 2025 – this volume is set to double over the next five years.

Economic boost for the region

Minister President Haseloff emphasized the importance of the company in Genthin: "The revitalization of the site as a chemical park with various partners is extremely positive. Companies and people in the region can look ahead with hope." State parliament representatives, the district administrator, the mayors of Genthin and Elbe-Parey, and representatives of neighboring companies also accompanied the visit. During a tour of the production halls, the guests learned about raw material storage, filling, logistics, and planned expansions such as the construction of a new mixing plant.

Sustainable investment with future prospects

The location scores highly with its modern infrastructure, central location, and short delivery routes—important factors for sustainable and economical production. With the expansion in Genthin, DR.SCHNELL is sending a clear signal for innovation, loyalty to the location, and future-oriented growth.
