The EU Ecolabel is an environmental label awarded to products and services that meet high environmental standards throughout their entire life cycle. In addition to strict scientific criteria for rapid biodegradability, high packaging efficiency, and limited environmental toxicity, a performance test is also decisive. Our goal is to equip every new product with the EU Ecolabel if it falls into one of the categories offered.

Cradle to Cradle describes a recyclability "from origin to origin." Corresponding products can either be returned to biological cycles as biological nutrients or kept in technical cycles as technical nutrients.

The ingredients in the ECO Collection can be biodegraded or processed into new products. Packaging is returned to the cycle as recycled material, leaving no waste behind. All materials are harmless to health and environmentally safe. The use of renewable energies, clean water management, and social commitment are also included in the assessment.

Clean ingredients in sustainable packaging: Our ECO Collection is available in liter bottles including caps and 10-liter canisters (except for hazardous goods) made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. The CO2* value per container is reduced by over 56% compared to standard containers.

In 2024, recycled material will account for 16.3% of the total plastic used in the DR.SCHNELL range. This will reduce the demand for newly produced plastic by 153 tons, saving 420 tons of CO2* and 459 tons of crude oil (calculated using the ISO14067-certified CO2* calculator).

Transferring the product from the 10-liter canister to liter bottles offers threefold savings. A large 10-liter container requires less plastic to manufacture and therefore also produces less CO2* than ten individual liter bottles. In addition, purchasing the 10-liter container offers customers a general price advantage over the same amount of cleaning agent in individual bottles.
