The powerful three
Strong products, strong for the environment

The powerful trio from DR.SCHNELL is now even more sustainable. MILIZID, FOROL, and FLOORTOP, the all-rounders for routine cleaning, are now available in brand new transparent plastic bottles and canisters made from 30% recycled material.

Up to 18% CO₂* savings per package

Packaging containing 30% recycled material can reduce CO₂* emissions by up to 18% per package. By replacing the bottle bodies of the Strong 3, we can save approximately 154 tons of CO₂* per year, and by replacing the canisters, an additional 57 tons of CO₂*, for a total of over 200 tons of CO₂* per year.

The use of containers with a high recycled content also reduces the need for newly produced plastic and the crude oil required to produce it. The Starken 3 containers, with a recycled content of 30%, can reduce plastic consumption by 60 tons per year.

100% recyclable

The bottles and canisters of the new Starken 3 are 100% recyclable. After use, the packaging can simply be disposed of in the yellow bag and yellow bin as part of the Green Dot dual system.

This allows them to return to the recycling cycle as post-consumer recyclate, where they are processed into granulate. This means that DR.SCHNELL packaging can be turned into a plastic product again elsewhere in the cycle.

We can also specify exactly where the recycled material used in our packaging comes from, thus ensuring that the high proportion of recycled material in our packaging consists of plastic packaging that has already been used (post-consumer recycled material) and not production waste.

No Downcycling

Transparent packaging prevents so-called downcycling. Colored containers must be sorted by color in a complex recycling process. Mixing colored plastic flakes leads to graying of the material.

This can then only be used for low-quality plastic products. Uncolored packaging, on the other hand, is fed into natural plastic streams. This can be used to produce high-quality new plastic, such as a new MILIZID bottle.
